Vice President Hamid Ansari held bilateral meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro today

Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari held a bilateral meeting with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in the Margarita Island this morning. Mr Ansari is in Venezuela to attend the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit. Upon his arrival in the island, the Vice President was received at the airport by Executive Vice President of Venezuela Aristobulo Isturiz



and accorded a ceremonial welcome.

The 17th edition of NAM Summit began on Tuesday and will culminate tomorrow with Venezuela taking over the organisation's rotating Presidency from Iran for the next three years.UN reforms, climate change, economic governance and nuclear disarmament are the main issues being discussed at the summit.
