TRS protest forces adjournment in Lok Sabha

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was adjourned on Tuesday after members of TRS protested seeking a separate High Court in Telangana.

Earlier, the TRS parliamentarians held a protest before the Mahatma Gandhi statue, outside the Parliament



premises, by holding placards that read “Uphold promise. Create Telangana High Court immediately.”

The Centre had earlier assured that the newly created state of Telangana will soon have a High Court of its own.
