Former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar didn't die because of polonium or any other radioactive substance, the FBI has emailed to the Delhi police.

According to media reports, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) disclosed that the radiation in  Pushkar’s viscera samples was within permissible levels and didn't cause her death.

The 51-year-old was found dead at the luxurious Leela Hotel in Delhi in January 2014.

Earlier, her death was considered as a case of suicide but later, the Delhi Police claimed that Pushkar was poisoned to death by unknown persons.
