President Ramnath Kovind has said that indian Community living abroad is true cultural ambassador of the country. Addressing the Indian diaspora in Dushanbe, the Capital of Tajikistan, last night, President Kovind said that India and Tajikistan have close ties since centuries. 

The President said, in last few years, Indian government has done a lot in the field of power, clean energy and digitalisation. He asked Indian community to enrich business and people to people relations between the two countries. 

President Kovind will hold talks with the top leadership of Tajikistan including President



Emamoli Rahmon today to strengthen ties between the two nations.

After Ceremonial Welcome President Ramnath Kovind will meet The president of Tajikistan Emamoli Rahmon. Both leaders will discuss various issues and signing of Bilateral agreements are also expected. 

President will then pay floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Rabindranath Tagore by visiting their memorials in Dushanbe. Later in the evening President Kovind will also visit the Tajik National University where he will deliver an address on 'Countering Radicalization: Challenges in Modern Societies'.
