New Delhi, December 16,2014 (Agencies) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday expressing his displeasure over some BJP legislators for making controversial remarks, cautioned them not to cross the ''Laxman Rekha."

During the BJP's parliamentary party meeting, which is held every Tuesday when Parliament session is on, PM Modi strictly told party's MPs not to cross "Laxman



Rekha."

The Prime Minister's instruction to the party lawmakers comes in the backdrop of controversy sparked by  MP Sakshi Maharaj, who eulogized Mahatma Gandhi's killer Nathuram Godse as a "patriot" The issues was taken up by the Opposition in the Parliament, distributing the regular proceedings.

Earlier, Union minister Sadhavi Niranjan Jyoti had triggered a controversy by using  abusive language while campaigning for the BJP in Delhi.
