Key witness shot at days after Asaram’s son Narayan Sai walks out of jail
Panipat Wednesday, 13 May 2015 (Agency) : The main eye witness in the Narayan Sai case, Mahendra Chawla, was shot at on Wednesday in Panipat by an unidentified gunman. He was later admitted to a hospital and is said to be critical.On April 16, the Gujarat High Court had



granted conditional bail of three weeks to Narayan Sai, son of self-proclaimed godman Asaram Bapu.Sai was accused of committing repeated sexual assaults between 2002 and 2005 on a woman who was living at his Surat ashram, following which he was booked under various sections of the IPC, including rape, unnatural sex, molestation, wrongful confinement etc.
