Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as outbreak of coronavirus hampers global economic activities and supply of essential goods. Mr Netanyahu told a press conference that Israel is dependent on supply lines from various countries and he has spoken to his friend Narendra Modi.

The Israeli prime minister has announced a package of 2.86 billion dollars to facilitate economic activity in the midst of challenges posed by the spread of the virus. He said the Israeli economy is in a better situation than most economies in the world as unemployment is low, growth is high and the debt to GDP ratio is good.
