A strange case of robbery has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The robbers here first robbed an elderly couple with the help of weapons. After that, they apologized by touching the feet of the couple and said that they would return their money and jewellery after 6 months.

According to the police, elderly businessman Surendra Verma and his wife Aruna Verma live in Rajnagar, Ghaziabad. Verma has three married daughters, who live abroad. He earlier had a factory in Bulandshahr, which was later closed. Near his kothi, there is also a kothi of former Mayor Ashu Verma.

The police informed that the couple was in deep sleep on Monday night. At around 3.30 pm, four masked armed robbers reached outside his kothi. They cut his iron main gate with a gas cutter and then broke the glass to entered the house. The robbers then took



Surendra Verma and his wife hostage. Among them, one of the robbers had a pistol while the rest had knives. Two of them kept the couple at gunpoint while the other two started searching the house. They broke the cupboard and took Rs 1.5 lakh cash and about Rs 4 lakh worth of jewellery.

While going out, the robbers apologized by touching the feet of the elderly couple. They said that they are forced to do this and will return their money and jewellery to them after 6 months. They also gave Rs 500 to the elderly couple while leaving and said that they would come to meet them soon.

After a long time, the panicked couple called the police and informed about the incident. The police reached the spot and searched for the robbers but their clue was not found anywhere. The police are looking for CCTV records and other clues in this case.
