IAF to induct women in fighter stream: Arup Raha

Air Chief Arup Raha today said that the Indian Air Force is planning to induct women pilots in the fighter stream.

"We have women pilots flying transport aircraft and helicopters, we are now planning to include them in the fighter stream to



meet the aspirations of young women of India," said the IAF Chief.

PM Modi lauded  the Indian Air Force Personnel saying that their contribution was monumental for the country.

IAF is celebrating its 83rd anniversary today.
