I am both Hindu and Muslim, says Salman

Tinsel ville bigwig Salman Khan left everyone flabbergasted in the Jodhpur court today by stating that he is both Hindu and Muslim by religion, reports IndiaToday.in.

The actor appeared at the court today to record his statement in the Arms Act case. When the judge asked him about his caste, at first Salman told that he is an Indian.

But when the judge told him that



there's a column pertaining to caste which needs to be filled, the actor proudly said that he is both Hindu and Muslim as his mother Helen is a Hindu and his father Salim Khan is a Muslim.

The next hearing in the case will be on May 4, 2015.

Salman has been accused of possessing illegal arms and using the same for poaching black bucks.
