Extra coaches added to trains from Oct 7 to clear rush

Hyderabad: The South Central Railway on Monday announced the augmentation of capacity in 14 daily express trains during the festival season, between October 7 and November 16.

A whopping 80,640 seats have been generated by attaching two additional second-class chair car coaches to each of the trains, according to an official release.

The trains include nos. 12747/12748



Guntur-Vikarabad-Guntur Palnadu Express, nos. 12713/12714 Vijayawada-Secunderabad-Secunderabad Satavahana, nos. 12711/12712 Vijayawada-Chennai-Vijayawada Pinakini, nos. 12718/12717 Vijayawada-Visakhapatnam Ratnachal, nos. 12706/12705 Secunderabad-Guntur-Secunderabad Intercity, nos. 17023/17024 Secunderabad-Kurnool-Secunderabad Tungabhadra and nos. 17639/17640 Kacheguda-Akola-Kacheguda Intercity Express.
