Riyadh: External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar held a meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud in Riyadh yesterday. They discussed current global political and economic concerns and agreed to work closely together in G20 and multilateral organizations.

They co-chaired the Political, Security, Social and Cultural Committee of the India-Saudi Partnership Council.

Dr Jaishankar called on Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah in the evening. During the meeting, Dr Jaishankar



apprised him of the progress in India-Saudi Arabia relations and thanked him for sharing his vision of bilateral ties.  

Dr Jaishankar also addressed diplomats at the Prince Saud Al Faisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies in Riyadh.

The Minister underlined the importance of the India-Saudi Strategic Relationship at a time when the world is at crossroads. He said, India-Saudi Arabia collaboration holds the promise of shared growth, prosperity, stability, security, and development.
