External Affairs Minister, Dr S Jaishankar has held meeting with US National Security Advisory Jake Sullivan.
 
They held wide-ranging discussions including on Indo-Pacific and Afghanistan.
 
Dr Jaishankar conveyed appreciation for US solidarity in addressing the Covid challenge.
 
He said India-US vaccine partnership can make a real difference.
 
The Minister, who is on a five day visit to US, also met  US Trade Representative Katherine Tai.
 
In a tweet, Dr Jaishankar said



the two countries trade, technology and business cooperation are at the core of strategic partnership and enhancing them is vital to post-Covid economic recovery.
 
He also welcomed her stance on IPR issues and support for efficient supply chains.
 
The Minister also met Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines.
 
In a tweet, he said, he looks forward to working closely together to address contemporary security challenges and advance India-UD strategic partnership.
