Paying glowing tributes to Kalam, KCR stated he is fortunate to unveil the statue, who used to stay in a small room in DRDO during his stint and conducted many

missile tests at ISRO. He said Kalam’s services as scientist spread India’s name across the continents, while Pokhran Test was reflection of caliber and capabilities in the chosen domain. To serve the poor with heart ailments, Kalam came up with cheap stents, KCR recalled.

The Chief Minister exhorted the youth and people to emulate Kalam and pay real tributes to him. The “missile man” had two decade long association with Hyderabad. Indeed, Kalam is ideal to all and ignited the minds of the youth and talent and inspired many leaders, KCR averred.
