Medak, Sept 28 (Agency): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao urged the people of Erravalli and Narsampet villages in Medak district to be part of the development by proactively involving in the development works.

Speaking at a public meeting here on Wednesday, KCR said Erravalli and Narsampet villages were transforming as model villages. 'The villagers have to cooperate with each other and participate in development process. The other villages in the State have to emulate Erravalli and Narsampet villages. The results would be good if people of both the villagers move forward politely," he added.

The Chief Minister assured that the Godavari water would reach the region within two years. He said that the recent rains have filled tanks in the villages to their brim and also increased ground water levels. It is for the people to put use of the



resources in a proper manner. He said drip irrigation works were going on in both the villages and asked the people to make use of the same to full extent. We have to dig 50 to 60 bore-wells in two villages by state assistance, he said and asked people to link bores with sumps.

Elaborating on various techniques of farming, KCR shared his experiences when as MLA as to how he devised agri-mechanism in his constituency that led yielded good results. Anything can be achieved through cooperation. The villagers have to co-operate each other to get a good crop, he advised the villagers.

The Chief Minister wished the economical growth of women saying that the women were better managers. The women do good finance management, he said. Women can do wonders. Former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi led the nation towards development through her efficiency, he said.
