Bengaluru Express derails near Sakaleshpur

Mangaluru: A couple of coaches of Karwar/Kannur-Bengaluru Express, which left Mangaluru on Sunday night, derailed near Donigal early Monday morning. No casualties were reported.

Railway authorities were making alternative



travel arrangements for the passengers. While those going to Bengaluru were sent by a train via Palakkad, those on Karwar/Kannur-Bengaluru train were sent by bus to their destinations from Sakaleshpur.  The track would be repaired by noon, they said.
