Lucknow: Chief Minister of UP, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav invited the family members of Mohammad Akhlaq to Lucknow yesterday to console them. He feared that there would be protest if he went to Dadri village.

Akhlaq’s son Mohammed Danish is fighting for his life in the hospital.

CM assured that justice would be done to the bereaved family. CM also gave Rs. 45 lakh to Akhlaq’s which included Rs. 30 lakh to Akhlaq’s mother, Asghari Begum as the



compensation for the death of her son and Rs. 5 lakh each to Akhlaq’s three brothers.

CM also promised a Govt. job to Akhlaq’s son, Mohammad Danish, who was severely beaten by the mob and undergoing treatment in Gautam Buddha Nagar Hospital in Noida.

Opposition alleged that the CM is making an attempt to buy the emotion and support of families of the victims. They demanded the Govt. to formulate a policy for awarding compensation to such victims.
