Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Kadiam Srihari would release the code for the Eamcet 2015 question paper at 6 am on Thursday for engineering stream in UGC academic staff college JNTUH, Kukatpally. EAMCET 2015 convener N V Ramana Rao on Wednesday informed that health minister Charlakola Laxma Reddy would release the paper code for agriculture and medical stream at 9.30 am. Meanwhile, elaborate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of Eamcet 2015 to be held at 423 examination centers on May 14 across the State. Meanwhile the RTC employees called off their six day strike easing the burden on higher education department and State government.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari on Wednesday said that all arrangements for holding the exam were made and the students would be allowed to other centers if they failed to reach out to the original examination centers. Total 1.39 lakh students are taking the exam in engineering stream, while 92,362 have applied for agriculture and medicine streams. Addressing a press conference at Secretariat, Srihari said that the government has taken necessary steps by pressing vehicles of educational institutions and police department. To avoid inconvenience the government has taken required steps to ensure that the students reach the centers on time, he said. He also stated that centers are spruced up for the examinations to



enable the students to appear for the exams in a favourable atmosphere.

In a related development, TSPHE chairman Papi Reddy, Eamcet 2015 convenor Professor Ramana Rao said that the students should try to reach the exam centers on time. Rao said that students will not be allowed to enter the examination centres even if they arrive late and also said that candidates should reach the centers half an hour before the scheduled time. Eamcet regional convener Professor T Srinivasulu said students should not bring any electronic devices or mobile phones.

Kadiyam Srihari said that a total of 2, 31, 998 students would be appearing for the Eamcet examination. Of them, as many as 1,39,636 students are going to appear for engineering stream at 251 centers while 92,362 students would be appearing for medicine and agricultural stream at 172 centers. The exam will begin at 10 am for engineering stream while at 2 pm for medicine stream.

Vakati Karuna said a total of 13,990 students would be appearing for engineering stream at 23 examination centers while 8,600 students would be appearing for medicine and agriculture streams at 17 centers. She instructed the Transco officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply on the exmination day. Police officials have been asked to impose 144 Section in and around the examination centers.
