The wedding preparations started in the month of January this year. The couple came to the city after fixing an auspicious time for the wedding by the priest. The event took place in the function hall in Kothapet.  There marriage was unusual in many ways. Firstly, none of them belongs to India and don’t know any traditions or cultures. The couple spot ‘Arundhati’ and ‘Vasishta’ stars in the sky to complete their marriage formalities. The marriage is unusual in other ways too. There was no single member of the couple family during the marriage and the role of brides and grooms parents were taken by the local people who met them for the first time. However, 300 attendees, complete strangers to the couple, more than made up for it by blessing them after word got around about their story. The original names of the couple are Tobias Scharinger and Sabine Szakacs. They were both given Indian names during the marriage by the local hosts to make it easier to pronounce by the priests during the marriage.
