PM Modi conferred with Agricola Medal in Rome for agricultural initiatives

Prime Minister Modi has been conferred with the Food and Agriculture Organisation's highest honour, the Agricola Medal. The prestigious award was presented during a special ceremony held at the historic Plenary Hall at the organisation's headquarters in Rome. 

During the event, the Director-General of the international body praised the Indian leader for exceptional leadership and vision in advancing efforts to transform the nation's agricultural



landscape. The recognition highlights the implementation of farmer-centric, innovative, and path-breaking initiatives that have significantly impacted the agricultural sector. 

This accolade serves as a major international acknowledgement of the country's ongoing commitment to improving its farming framework. The ceremony in Rome marks a significant milestone, underscoring the importance of the newly introduced agricultural initiatives.
