YSRCP Workers Attempt to Attack TDP MLA Surendra Babu

Tensions flared during the ongoing MPTC and ZPTC elections being held on Thursday, as YSRCP workers allegedly attempted to attack TDP MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu. The incident took place at Bestharapalli in Kundurpi mandal.

Some women reportedly complained to the Kalyandurg MLA that YSRCP leaders were threatening them and preventing them



from casting their votes. The MLA then visited the polling centre.

On learning of his visit, YSRCP leaders and workers gathered at the spot. They allegedly tried to attack the MLA, but his gunman stepped in to block them. The gunman suffered serious injuries in the process and was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
