YSRCP Alleges Law and Order Collapse in Andhra Pradesh

The YSR Congress approached the NHRC alleging anarchic governance and human rights violations in Andhra Pradesh, citing attacks on former ministers and the killing of Dalit activist Salman.
A memorandum in this regard was also submitted to the
NHRC.

Responding to the memorandum, NHRC Chairperson Justice V. Ramasubramanian indicated a report would be sought from the DGP and a possible fact-finding visit. The YSRCP sought urgent intervention to restore law and order and ensure accountability.
