Three days after the Uttar Pradesh Assembly poll results were declared, Yogi Adityanath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Sunday.

PM Modi congratulated Yogi Adityanath for his win in the UP election. According to reports, Yogi Adityanth also extended an invitation to the PM for his swearing-in ceremony.

Yogi Adityanath also met Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP national president JP Nadda and the



party's national general secretary BL Santosh.

Yogi Adityanath on Friday tendered his resignation as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh to Governor Anandiben Patel. He will be the first chief minister in the last 37 years to return to power after completing a full term in Uttar Pradesh.

According to reports, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has already made a list of actions to be implemented after the new government is formed in the state.
