Woman Donates Land of Rs 1 Cr for Temple Kalyana Mandapam, AP

An 82-year-old woman donated 14 cents of land, valued at more than Rs 1 crore, for the construction of a kalyana mandapam at the Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy Temple in Punadipadu village under Kankipadu limits.
The woman, Jhansi Lakshmi, said she decided to donate the
land in memory of her mother-in-law, Saraswathy, and father-in-law, Sita Ramaiah.

Sri Rama Bhakti Committee representative Muddali Tirumala Rao said construction of the kalyana mandapam would be taken up on the donated land and completed as soon as possible.
