Woman Dies After Tree Falls On Her At Kolkata’s SSKM Hospital

A 46-year-old woman died after a tree suddenly fell on her at the state-run SSKM Hospital here on Monday, police said.

The deceased was identified as Rahida Bibi, a resident of Nalhati in Birbhum district, a senior officer said. 

"The woman



died after the tree suddenly fell on her on the hospital premises. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. The circumstances leading to the tree fall are being looked into," he said.

A preliminary investigation has been initiated, the officer said.
