New Delhi: Some states, including Delhi, Maharashtra and Mizoram are witnessing a slight increase in daily COVID-19 cases.

Delhi COVID update:
Delhi registered 325 fresh COVID cases on April 14, a day after 299 people were found to be infected with the virus. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia have appeled to people to not panic as the number of coronavirus cases might have increased but the hospitalisation rate is low. The positivity rate in the national capital was recorded at 2.39 per cent on Thursday.
Maharashtra records 103 fresh coronavirus cases

In Maharashtra, 103 people tested positive for COVID on Thursday, while five more patients lost their lives due to the infection. The deaths were recorded in Mumbai, Nashik district, in the limits of Nashik Municipal Corporation, Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Buldhana.

logged 56 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking the overall tally to 10,58,623. The financial capital of the country recorded one fatality linked to the infection. According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Mumbai has 346 active cases and the recovery rate is at 98 per cent.

Mizoram logs 78 new COVID cases:
Seventy eight people were found to be infected with COVID on Thursday, pushing the tally rising to 2,25,901. Fortunately, no new fatality due to the infection was reported.

Tamil Nadu records 25 new COVID infections:
In Tamil Nadu, 25 people tested positive for coronavirus, including a returnee from the United Arab Emirates. The state has reported 34,14,933 recoveries so far. Tamil Nadu is left with 230 active cases.
Gujarat registered 11 new cases of coronavirus, while clocked 19 fresh infections.

According to the India Union Health Ministry data updated on Thursday at 8 am, the active cases in India rose to 11,058.
