Viksit Bharat Shiksha Adhishthan Bill Referred To JPC

The Viksit Bharat Shiksha Adhishthan Bill, 2025, which was introduced in the Lok Sabha, has been referred to the Joint Committee of Parliament (JPC) for further scrutiny.

The Viksit Bharat Shiksha Adhishthan bill aims to empower the

Universities and other higher educational institutions to achieve excellence in teaching, learning, research and innovation.

It is also intended to promote excellence through a robust and transparent system of accreditation and autonomy.
