Video of Drunk Rickshaw Driver Drags Woman Cop For 200 Meters In Maharashtra

A drunk auto-rickshaw driver in Maharashtra's Satara dragged a woman police constable nearly 200 meters who tried to stop his vehicle near Khandoba Maal on Monday.

CCTV footage of the incident showed the autorickshaw dragging the constable along the road while onlookers tried to stop the accused. She eventually fell and sustained injuries. The constable is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Police said the driver was in an inebriated condition and rammed several two-wheelers and four-wheelers while fleeing. He was later



intercepted near the Market Yard area, where locals caught hold of him and handed him over to the police.

An FIR has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
