Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh, the State Government is going to distribute 50 lakh medicine kits free of cost among the children below 18 years of age.

This is a major step, taken in view of the probable third wave of COVID infection Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath yesterday launched this campaign from his residence in state capital Lucknow.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off the vehicles carrying 17 lakh medical kits which will be distributed in different districts. The rest of 33 lakh medical kits will be supplied by the Health



Department at different warehouses and from there it will reach the districts this month only.

These kits specially curated for four different age groups (0-1 year, 1-5 years, 5-12 years and 12-18 yrs) were prepared by Medical Supplies Corporation of state.

Under this drive, parents will be apprised about various symptoms of the COVID like fever, diarrhoea and so on.

These kits will carry the detailed instructions also so that parents can use them according to their child’s age.
