New Delhi: Union Minister of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME Narayan Rane yesterday inaugurated the Khadi India pavilion, depicting the theme of “Vocal for Local, Local to Global" at India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi. Minister of State for MSME Bhanu Pratap Singh was also present on the occasion.
Two hundred stalls have been set up at the Khadi pavilion. A wide range of village industry products produced in the rural atmosphere by the Khadi artisans are attracting the visitors. 
Live demonstrations of Charkha Spinning activity, making pottery items, Agarbatti making, Embroidery on Pashmina and Wool by women artisans from Jammu and Kashmir are being done at the pavilion.
It aims at educating and motivating youths to take up self-employment activities and to become ‘Job provider, instead of Job seeker. A selfie point with father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also the center of attraction for visitors.
