Union Health Minister J P Nadda on Tuesday visited the Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) and Lady Hardinge hospitals here and met officials to enquire about the condition of protesters who were injured during the Cockroach Janta Party's march to Parliament.

Nadda also reviewed the medical facilities being provided to the students, sources said. Hospital authorities briefed the minister on the condition of the students, saying that all of them were under



medical supervision and receiving the necessary treatment.

Thousands joined the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) "Chalo Sansad" march on Monday to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged examination irregularities. 

According to Delhi Police, around 60 protesters were injured during the protest. More than 118 police personnel, including several senior officers, were also injured.
