This incident has raised concerns over commuter safety and traffic movement which is already hampered due to heavy



rain.

Local commuters blamed on the ongoing excavation work nearby apart from the regular water-logging situation due to downpour. 

Authorities have cordoned off the affected stretch and initiated necessary measures to secure the affected road.
