UN day: Modi appreciates UN's efforts in promoting world peace

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated the United Nations' efforts in promoting world peace and laud the wide range of initiatives under its guidance.

In his greetings on UN day today, Mr. Modi said in a tweet message, India is proud of the steadfast



support and active participation in several UN initiatives aimed at making the world a better place. 

24th of October has been celebrated as United Nations Day since 1948. The day is devoted to make known to the people about the aims and achievements of the UN.
