Two militants killed in encounter in J&K

In Jammu & Kashmir, two militants were killed in an encounter in south Kashmir’s Shopian area. The operation is in progress. An Army spokesman told  that two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen were killed in the ongoing operation in the



area. 

The slain militants have been identified as Naseer Pandit and Waseem Ahmad Malla. Both were reportedly active militants. Two rifles and ammunition were also recovered from the encounter site. More details were awaited.
