Two Fishermen of Kakinda port Hurts as Gas Cylinder Explodes in Boat

According to the Thondangi police, four fishermen from Yellaiahpeta village in Thondangi mandal of Kakinada district had ventured into the sea in a fishing boat. While they were preparing food on board, the gas cylinder suddenly exploded, injuring two of them.
The other two fishermen jumped into the sea to escape the flames. Fishermen on
another boat following them noticed the incident and immediately rushed to their rescue.

They rescued all four fishermen and brought them safely to the shore. The two injured fishermen were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Kakinada, where they are undergoing treatment. Police are investigating the cause of the explosion.
