Two CRPF men among 6 killed in Pampore encounter

Two Army paratrooper, a Lance Naik (LN) and two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were among six people killed in the on going operation at Pampore in south Kashmir, where a group of militants are holed up in a government building

The last rites of Captain Pawan Kumar will be conducted with full military honours today at his



village in Jind of Haryana. The 23-year-old Captain from elite Para unit lost his live yesterday in the ongoing encounter with militants in Pampore town of Kashmir. 

The Army has appealed to the people of Haryana, hit by Jat quota stir, to extend support in giving a befitting farewell to this brave son of the soil.
