TVK Chief Vijay Files Nomination From Perambur in Chennai

TVK Cheif Vijay on Monday filed his nomination papers to contest the upcoming Assembly elections from the Perambur constituency in Chennai, marking his formal entry into electoral politics.

The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief, who has transitioned from a successful film career



into public life, is making his electoral debut with this contest. 

His decision to choose Perambur -- a constituency in north Chennai known for its sizeable working-class population and dense urban clusters -- is being seen as a strategic move aimed at tapping into grassroots support.
