Mon 21 Jul 2025, 11:03:46
Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has suspended four of its employees over allegations that they were following religious faiths other than Hinduism.

The suspended employees include B Elizar, Deputy Executive Engineer (Quality Control); S Rosi, Staff Nurse at BIRRD Hospital; M Premavati, Grade-1 Pharmacist at BIRRD Hospital; and Dr G Asuntha from the SV Ayurveda Pharmacy.

In the wake of the allegations, it is believed that the four

TTD employees did not adhere to the institution’s code of conduct and acted irresponsibly while performing their duties at a Hindu religious organization.

Based on a report submitted by the TTD Vigilance Department and other supporting evidence, departmental action was taken against them as per rules, and all four employees were immediately suspended, according to a press release issued by the TTD on Saturday, July 19.
