With lakhs of devotees visiting Tirumala every day, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced an innovative moving-table system to facilitate the smooth distribution of prasadam.
The new system has been designed to reduce congestion at prasadam distribution counters and ensure quicker service to devotees.

Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary, along with officials from the Engineering and Catering departments, developed the moving-table system at a cost of around Rs. 10 lakh.
The seven-metre-long moving table functions like a conveyor belt. Prasadam plates placed on the table move continuously, allowing devotees to collect them easily while walking through the queue line.
