The ruling TRS made a clean sweep by bagging all 20 wards in the Achampet Nagar Panchayat elections in Mahabubnagar district. The election that was held on March 6 had counting of votes on Wednesday. Withing few minutes of counting, the voting witnessed a clear result as not even a single seat went to the Grand Alliance under which all the opposition parties including Congress, TDP, BJP and Communist parties contested against TRS.
