Trinamool Congress nominates Sushmita Dev to Rajya Sabha

Kolkata: Trinamool Congress has nominated Sushmita Dev to the vacant Rajya Sabha seat from West Bengal. Former Congress MP Sushmita Dev had recently joined the party and was given the job to look after AITC's functioning in Tripura and



Assam.

 

By-polls for the six Rajya Sabha seats including one from West Bengal will take place on 4th of October. The seat from the state fell vacant after Manas Bhuniya decided to contest the state assembly elections earlier this year.
