Travels Company Owner Held For Abetting Suicide Of Worker in Chennai

The owner of a Travels company at Anna Nagar was arrested for driving a 23-year-old worker to commit suicide. The youth jumped from the fourth floor of the company and committed suicide on August 1.

Akash was living in Anna Nagar and worked in a travels company in the same area. He jumped from the fourth floor of the company to commit suicide. One of his relatives Vasantharaj (28) visited him when Akash was unconscious in the



hospital.

Advertisement When he went to the company and examined the CCTV footage, he came to know that Akash was locked in a room and threatened before he committed suicide. He lodged a complaint with Anna Nagar police. 

The police investigated the incident and came to know that his company owner suspected him of stealing money. The owner brought two persons to question and threaten him. The owner Sugumar (57) living in Shenoy Nagar was arrested for abetting his suicide.
