TN Woman Killed, 2 Injured As SUV Rams Into Parked Lorry in Chittor

A pilgrimage turned tragic for a Tamil Nadu family returning from Tirumala after having darshan of Lord Venkateswara, as their vehicle met with a fatal road accident near Mogili Ghat Road in Bangarupalem mandal in the district on Thursday.

One woman died on the spot, while two others sustained serious injuries. According to police reports, six people, including a child, from Kuppachipparai of Krishnagiri district were returning home in a Bolero vehicle.

stretch, their Bolero rammed into a lorry that was parked stationary on the road. The SUV seemed to have hit the lorry from the side, as the crash impact was more on the side of the vehicle.

The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the woman’s death on the spot, and the top and side portions of the vehicle were completely damaged. Two other occupants suffered serious injuries in the crash and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors are closely monitoring the condition of the injured victims.
