TN CM Vijay Condoles Veteran Actress Sowcar Janaki’s Demise

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay condoled the passing of veteran actress Sowcar Janaki on Friday. 

Sowcar Janaki, a respected name in South Indian cinema, died in a Chennai hospital due to age-related complications at the age of 94. 

The Chief Minister said that he was filled with profound shock and sorrow upon learning the news of the passing



of Mrs. Sowcar Janaki, the veteran film actress who, through her unique performances, had carved an indelible place in the hearts of audiences across generations.

The Chief Minister conveyed his condolences to her family, relatives, members of the film fraternity, and fans, and prayed that her soul rests in peace at the divine feet of the Lord.
