Sri Vari Laddu Prasadam sales at Tirumala have set a new record, with 1.21 crore laddus sold in May 2026, the highest ever for a single month.
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) confirmed the milestone, highlighting a steady rise in devotee demand over the last three years. Laddu sales have grown consistently year-on-year.
In May 2024, TTD sold 1.01 crore laddus, which rose to 1.10 crore in May 2025 before touching the
1.21 crore mark this May. To meet the demand, TTD now produces an average of 4.08 lakh laddus daily, using nearly 68 tons of raw materials each day.
Devotees have also welcomed recent improvements in the quality and taste of the prasadam, which officials say has contributed to the surge in sales. The Sri Vari Laddu remains one of the most sought-after prasadams in the country, with its unique taste and religious significance drawing millions to Tirumala annually.
