The third multi-party delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, which is a part of seven delegations under India’s aggressive global campaign to expose Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, arrived in Moscow on Thursday. Talking to the media, Ms Kanimozhi Karunanidhi said, Russia has been a strategic partner and both countries have always worked together on diplomatic issues and trade. She emphasised the importance of reaching out to Russia when India has been facing terror attacks time and again.
 
The Kanzimozhi-led multi-party delegation will visit Spain, Greece, Slovenia and Latvia in the later phases of their visit. 
  
Meanwhile, the multi-party delegation led by  JD(U) MP Sanjay Jha interacted with Ambassadors and diplomats of Brazil, Australia, Colombia, Greece and South Korea in Tokyo, Japan. During the interaction, Mr Jha said every terrorist activity in the world has some or other link in Pakistan, which is a new normal. He added that if anything happens to Indian citizens, India will hit back.
 
Earlier, I met Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya in Tokyo and requested Japan’s



support in the fight against terrorism. At the outset, Foreign Minister Iwaya expressed heartfelt condolences to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and extended his sympathies to those injured in the attack. He emphasised that terrorism cannot be justified in any form and expressed solidarity of Japan with India and with the world in the fight against terrorism. The delegation also met former Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga and Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on National Security, Takashi Endo. In both meetings, the delegation conveyed India’s resolute commitment to combating terrorism in all its forms.
  
Another high-level all-party delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde reached Abu Dhabi yesterday. The UAE is the first stop of the broader four-nation diplomatic outreach. During their visit, the delegation held a series of high-level meetings with UAE leadership and media officials to underscore India’s firm zero-tolerance stance on terrorism. The remaining three delegations out of seven will also be leaving in the upcoming days for different countries.
