The Telangana government would revamp entire education system from KG to PG in the State, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Wednesday warned of stern action against the managements of the private educational institutions which failed to maintain standards in providing quality education to the students.

The Chief Minister held a high level review on the education with the officials and Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari at the camp office here. He discussed in detail the modalities adopted for introduction of online system in degree courses, recent vigilance raids on engineering colleges and faculty and hostels facilities in government colleges and universities.   

He expressed serious concern over mushrooming of educational institutions, particularly engineering colleges and increasing the trend of commercialisation of education. Stringent action would be taken against the institutions running with fake teaching staff, 


style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">KCR held the managements of such institutions responsible for the decline in educational
  standards which  badly  affected the career of students.

The Chief Minister enquired about the number of institutions functioning without faculty and lack of accountability.  He wanted all the private institutions to provide education to all needy by strictly adhering to reservations given to different sections. He directed the officials to come up with new education system at Inter, Degree and Postgraduation level ensuring providing job and self employment opportunities to students after completion of their studies.
