Teen murdered by uncle over online gaming addiction in Bengaluru

Teen was murdered by his uncle in a shocking case linked to online gaming addiction. 

The incident occurred in Vinayaka Layout, under the Soladevanahalli police limits. The victim, identified as Amoghakeerthi, had been living with his maternal uncle, Nagaprasad (50), for the past eight months.

According to the police, the boy was addicted to online games and



frequently pestered his uncle for money to play. 

Frustrated by the repeated demands, Nagaprasad allegedly slit the boy’s throat around 4:30 am on Monday before fleeing the house. He reportedly travelled towards Majestic and remained there for three days.
