Technical Glitches Disrupt AIIMS Recruitment Re-Exam In Jaipur, Candidates Protest

Technical glitches disrupted an AIIMS recruitment re-examination at a centre in Jaipur on Monday, triggering a protest by the candidates, police said.AIIMS has cancelled the examination at the centre, and the re-test will be conducted again after a few days, Sanganer Sadar SHO Kamlesh Kumar said. 

The incident was reported from the iON Digital Zone examination centre in Sitapura, where the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was conducting the re-examination for recruitment to Group B and Group C non-academic posts under the Common Recruitment Examination-5.

A large number of candidates had reached the centre to appear for the examination, which was scheduled from 9 am to



noon. 

However, the exam started around 30 minutes late due to some technical issues, and the server also went down within a few minutes, causing inconvenience to the candidates, the SHO said. 

There were also a couple of power outages, which further disrupted the process, he said. Following the disruptions, the candidates came out of the centre and held a protest, venting their anger over the conduct of the examination. 

The same centre also witnessed technical problems during the NEET-PG held on Sunday, when online tests were disrupted due to a server outage. The screens repeatedly stopped working, following which angry candidates left the examination rooms and protested outside, police said.
