Chennai: Tamilnadu Governor R.N.Ravi has withdrawn the dismissal of State Minister Senthil Balaji. Official sources said that the order has been withheld. Senthil Balaji was dismissed from the State Cabinet yesterday according to the press release issued by Raj Bhavan.

The dismissal brought in a string of criticism from various political parties. State Chief Minister M.K.Stalin said that the matter would be taken to Court. At this juncture, the Governor's office has withdrawn the order. Senthil Balaji who



has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on the cash-for-job case is now undergoing treatment at the Kavery Hospital in Chennai after undergoing heart surgery. 

The Court has extended the judicial custody till 12th July. He was arrested in the early hours of 14th June after which he was admitted to the Government General Hospital due to severe cardiac issues. He remained a Minister without portfolios after which yesterday's dismissal came.
